“Koala NW wanted to hold a virtual fundraising event, after missing out on so many of the events we had planned before lockdown because of Covid-19. Having no experience of this sort of thing, and not having dedicated fundraising staff, we needed something that would be very little work for us. We are delighted that we decided to go with the Comedy Bingo event. All we had to do was find some prizes and sell the tickets. Val and Bren at Comedy Bingo did the rest. We had a great night, with fab feedback, with people asking when the next one is. I would definitely recommend Comedy Bingo as a fundraising event to other charities out there.”

Virtual Comedy Bingo – Terms and Conditions

Virtual Comedy Bingo

 Terms and Conditions

The game is played remotely utilising the Zoom online meeting platform with players being invited attendees at the virtual meeting.

Virtual Comedy Bingo games are provided on behalf of the client for a fixed cost. The Client remains responsible for the organisation and signing up players. The client is responsible for setting game prices, game prizes and any additional fund raising events during the session. Additional events can be facilitated during the game session by Comedy Bingo if required.

Comedy Bingo will facilitate the online session, run the agreed number of bingo games and provide outline instructions and an appropriate number of uniquely identified bingo cards via email to the lead player from each household/screen.

Each lead player must have a valid email address and a working printer in order to receive and print bingo cards prior to the event taking place.

It is the responsibility of each lead player to ensure they have appropriate equipment to provide a video and audio link and an appropriate broadband connection to ensure a suitable stable connection for the duration of the game session.

Comedy Bingo will make reasonable endeavours to ensure that all signed up participants have joined the meeting (game session) at the start of the session but are unable to provide any technical support other than basic verbal advice.

It is not possible to stop a game session if an individual loses their connection during the game and the Comedy Bingo can accept no responsibility to ensure that players can reconnect to the meeting once a connection has been lost.

The distribution of prizes remains the responsibility of the client but Comedy Bingo will record the winners and send to the client after the event.

Privacy Policy

Comedy Bingo values your privacy. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that any information you care to share with us is protected and used in a way that complies with the current UK General Data Protection Regulation.

For clarity we differentiate between the Client’s (organiser) information and information supplied in order to facilitate the game from your players.

Zoom Privacy Statement,

Privacy is an extremely important topic, and we want you to know that at Zoom, we take it very seriously. Here are the facts about user privacy as it relates to Zoom and your use of our services:

  • We do not sell your personal data. Whether you are a business or a school or an individual user, we do not sell your data.
  • Your meetings are yours. We do not monitor them or even store them after your meeting is done unless we are requested to record and store them by the meeting host. We alert participants via both audio and video when they join meetings if the host is recording a meeting, and participants have the option to leave the meeting.
  • When the meeting is recorded, it is, at the host’s choice, stored either locally on the host’s machine or in our Zoom cloud. We have robust and validated access controls to prevent unauthorized access to meeting recordings saved to the Zoom cloud.
  • Zoom collects only the user data that is required to provide you Zoom services. This includes technical and operational support and service improvement. For example, we collect information such as a user’s IP address and OS and device details to deliver the best possible Zoom experience to you regardless of how and from where you join.
  • We do not use data we obtain from your use of our services, including your meetings, for any advertising. We do use data we obtain from you when you visit our marketing websites, such as zoom.us and zoom.com. You have control over your own cookie settings when visiting our marketing websites.
